Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure. On May 28, 2026, Exicure, Inc. (the “Company”) received a notification letter from the Listing Qualifications Department of The Nasdaq Stock Market LLC (“Nasdaq”) indicating that the Company was not in compliance with Nasdaq Listing Rule 5250(c)(1) due to the delayed filing of its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the quarter ended March 31, 2026. The delay was primarily due to additional time required following changes in the Company’s financial reporting personnel and related filing procedures. The Company filed its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the quarter ended March 31, 2026 with the Securities and Exchange Commission on May 29, 2026 and believes that it has regained compliance with Nasdaq Listing Rule 5250(c)(1).
